According to a report by Diario Sport, Barca midfielder Franck Kessie has his mind made up against leaving Barcelona this summer.

Previous reports had claimed that Kessie wanted to leave at the end of the season, due to his lack of starting opportunities.

However, Diario Sport now claims that Kessie intends to stay and fight for his place in the team.

The midfielder is one of the players Barca are willing to sell to reduce their wage bill, but Kessie is keen on giving it another go, after winning the La Liga in just his first season at Barcelona.

The 26-year-old was signed as a free agent last summer, and is now being valued at €20m, which would mean good value for money for Barcelona.

It is said that Barca are already receiving concrete offers for the Ivorian from Italy and England.

Despite not being a regular starter in the Barca squad, Kessie has managed to play 40 games scoring three goals and three assists.
