Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has told former Barcelona star Lionel Messi, that he’s always welcome to the club.

Messi is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, and Barcelona are trying everything possible to ensure he returns to the club.

For Araujo, he’d always welcome back the club legend.

“Generally we don’t talk about it, but Messi is always welcome and more so here at Barça,” said Araujo, who also discussed his contractual situation at Barça.

“I have a contract until 2026, what happens is that the renewal contract is not registered. I am very happy here.

“I have a contract and that is the most important thing.”
