Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has performed averagely for the club, but his work hasn’t been appreciated by the average Barcelona fan, especially with his massive transfer fee of €53m from Manchester City.

Ferran Torres has been named as one of those players Barcelona would love to ship out this summer, and reports now claim that the forward would welcome a return to the Premier League this summer if La Blaugrana forced him out of the door.

Torres has scored 14 goals and eight assists for Xavi’s side in all tournaments since his arrival, but he is down the pecking order in the attacking set-up.

According to Football Insider, both Arsenal and Aston Villa are believed to be keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old’s situation.

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery, who was previously in charge of Villarreal, is said to be interested in the player, and outgoing Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany, who will be with Villa next month, is keen on facilitating the deal.
