After the 4-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey, reports claimed that Xavi demanded Barcelona sign a right-back this summer.

However, Xavi has thrashed out the rumour, and claims he’s happy with his players.

Xavi admitted he’s happy with Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Sergi Roberto and even left-back Alejandro Balde.

He said: “Signing a right-back? I’m happy with the performance of the players who have had to play there. Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Sergi Roberto, and even Alejandro Balde.

“We’ll think about planning for next season later.”
