Even though Spain were unfortunate to crash out following a penalty shootout defeat to Morocco, the team indeed had some good moments.

Barcelona duo Gavi and Pedri proved to be pivotal for Spain, and they impressed in Qatar.

In the course of the tournament, Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke hailed the duo as magical.

“I think Pedri and Gavi do magic, they are at a spectacular level,” Spain midfielder Koke said.

“You just give them the ball and they don’t lose it. Those of us who are older also learn from young people. They do things we don’t do.

“We see what they do well and what they don’t, we also tell them. But it’s spectacular to play alongside Pedri.”
