Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie got off injured in the Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen.

Kessie who started the game, was subbed off in the 67th minute, after pulling his hamstring.

Speaking after the game, Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez admitted that the injury looked bad.

It has now been confirmed that Kessie will be ruled out for the next six weeks after injuring a pelvis muscle in the game against Viktoria Plzen.

This now means that Kessie will not play for Barca until after the World Cup.
