Ivan Rakitic has shared his thoughts on Lamine Yamal and said he agrees with the comments made by Gerard Piqué about the youngster.

A few months ago, Pique had said, “My feeling is that Lamine Yamal would not be playing in our generation.”

Ivan Rakitic agreed with Pique, as he spoke highly of the 2015 team led by the MSN trio.

“Pique is right. Back then, we had the best front three in football history,” said Rakitic, echoing Piqué’s comments.

He added: “Lamine is amazing. I love his confidence and joy. He just needs to keep enjoying himself. For me, he’s always in my team.”
