Barcelona midfielder Pedri has dismissed any fear of facing Real Madrid, even if it means a high-stakes showdown in the Champions League final.

The young Spaniard made it clear that he would welcome a meeting with Los Blancos in the biggest game of the season, emphasising his confidence in Barcelona’s chances.

He said: “Yes, I would sign it, because it would mean that we would be in the final.”

Despite Real Madrid’s dominance in Europe, Pedri insists that fear isn’t a factor for him or his team.

“I don’t think we have to be afraid of anyone. And that would mean that we are in the final, and I would sign it,” he said.

Barcelona have humbled Real Madrid in their two meetings this season, and the Los Blancos players will be hoping to avoid Barca in the Champions League final.
