Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to hurt Real Madrid when they meet again.

The last time the two sides met, Real Madrid suffered a 5-2 defeat in the Spanish Super Cup final. Earlier in the season, Los Blancos also endured a 4-0 loss at the Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga.

For Yamal, Barca know just how to play Real Madrid and he is looking forward to facing them again.

“Matches against Real Madrid are always very exciting,” Lamine says.

“We [Barcelona] are the team that causes them the most damage, and vice versa, because they’re a great team,” the youngster adds.

However, Real Madrid remain firmly in contention for silverware this season and could face Barcelona in the Champions League final. Both teams are on opposite sides of the bracket, setting up a potential high-stakes showdown in Europe’s biggest club competition.
