At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal has already established himself as a key player for both Barcelona and the Spanish national team. Despite the weight of expectation that comes with playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, the teenage sensation insists that he doesn’t feel any pressure.

In a recent interview with DAZN, Yamal opened up about his relaxed mindset and how he manages to perform at such a high level without feeling overwhelmed.

“Pressure Doesn’t Exist” – Yamal’s Mentality

Yamal, who has often been compared to Lionel Messi due to his dribbling skills and creativity, believes that pressure is something players create for themselves, rather than a real burden.

“When you start, everyone starts from scratch and there’s no pressure.”

“The pressure starts when you have bad games, and you look for excuses like pressure. Pressure doesn’t exist. If you only think about having a good time and enjoying yourself, there’s no pressure and that’s what I try to do.”

The young winger also described himself as a “creative, fun player”, explaining how he always looks to make a difference on the pitch:

“I might not touch the ball for a while, but in a minute I can do fun things.”

Yamal Continues to Shine for Barcelona

The teenage sensation has been in outstanding form this season, proving time and again why he is one of the most exciting young players in world football. His recent performances, including a stunning goal against Benfica in the Champions League, have further cemented his reputation.

Yamal himself admitted that his strike against Benfica was the best goal of his career so far, and fans can only expect more magic from him as he continues to develop.

With his talent, maturity, and fearless approach, Lamine Yamal looks destined for greatness at Barcelona. If he keeps enjoying himself on the pitch, there’s no limit to what he can achieve.
