Vitor Roque’s time at Barcelona appears to be coming to an end, with reports confirming that the Brazilian forward has no place in the club’s plans.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X, “Vitor Roque has no future at Barcelona in any case, no matter what happens with Palmeiras and Betis.” He further added that new Barca boss Hansi Flick does not count on Roque, and selling the young striker is one of the next moves being planned by the club.

Palmeiras are actively pursuing Roque, but meeting Barcelona’s €25 million asking price before the end of February seems unlikely, as per Marca.

Roque’s loan spell at Real Betis has been nothing short of disastrous. His struggles on the pitch culminated in a red card during their Europa Conference League game, further adding to his woes.

With Barcelona keen to offload him, it remains to be seen if any club—be it in Europe or South America—will match their valuation and bring an end to his ill-fated stint at Camp Nou.
