It’s been a decade since Barcelona last won the Champions League, as
Barcelona haven’t won the Champions League since  2015 when Lionel Messi was still at the club.

Barcelona are in fine form, and club president Joan Laporta, believes the Blaugrana can win the competition this season.

According to Laporta, Barcelona can win the Champions League if they roll up their sleeves and work for it.

“You have to work hard to win [a competition like the Champions League],” Laporta told a press conference.

“Barcelona have the best squad in the world [but you have to work hard to win].”

Barcelona have been drawn against Benfica in the Champions League round of 16 – a game they are well expected to win.
