Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick shared his thoughts after the Catalans secured an impressive 4-1 victory over Sevilla in a crucial away fixture in La Liga.

Despite being reduced to ten men after Fermin was shown a red card in the 62nd minute, Barça delivered a dominant performance. Flick expressed his satisfaction with the team’s resilience and determination.

“I’m very satisfied with our performance. We played very well and fought for the three points,” Flick said. “Playing with ten men is difficult, but we performed excellently. Fermín was upset about the red card, but before that, he scored an important goal.”

The German coach emphasised the importance of learning from challenging situations like this, highlighting how the team adapted tactically after the sending-off.

“These things happen, and for us, it’s a good lesson in playing from defense with a 4-4-1 formation,” he explained.

With Barcelona now just two points behind league leaders Real Madrid, Flick remains focused on the bigger picture, urging his players to concentrate on their own game rather than the standings.

“Our situation in La Liga is better than before, but for now, we’re simply focused on what we’re doing. We need to keep winning and not think about what others are doing. There’s still a long way to go and many games ahead,” Flick concluded.

Barça fans will be encouraged by Flick’s confident outlook as the team continues to push for the La Liga title.
