Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has responded to Real Madrid’s recent letter to the President of the RFEF regarding refereeing in Spain, making it clear that he does not support his rival club’s approach.
Speaking to the media, Flick made his stance known, emphasising that Barcelona does not engage in such complaints.
“If I’m honest, I don’t want to talk about this. They’ve done it that way, but that’s not our way.
“We’ve said no excuses, and it’s like that. Each club has its own way. I think every club, every manager, has had something to complain about.
“But we are human and we make mistakes. Referees have a complicated job and we have to take care of it. It’s not something easy for them.”
Flick’s comments highlight Barcelona’s contrasting philosophy, suggesting that his team prefers to focus on football rather than external factors. Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s concerns over officiating continue to be a topic of debate in Spanish football.
