Raphinha is a man in form, and has been one of Barcelona’s best players this season.

However, there was a time last season when Raphinha struggled for games, and looked out of form.

The Brazilian has now revealed how he wanted to leave Barcelona last summer.

In a recent interview with YouTube channel LoSimpleNoVale, Raphinha said about the transfer rumours: “When rumours surface that Barcelona want to sell you, fans remind you of everything negative.

“It’s hard not to think about leaving to avoid being a burden. I won’t stay where I’m not wanted.”

However, everything changed with the arrival of Hansi Flick.

“I knew that after a week of working with new coach, he would fall in love with me,” he stated. “It has always happened to me, even with the national team; with hard work, I always end up playing.”
