Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has spoken highly of Barca star Lamine Yamal.
At 17, Yamal is already a key player for club and country, and has broken so many records since breaking into the Barcelona team at the age of 17.
Rudiger was particularly impressed with how Lamine Yamal was in top form as Spain went on to win the Euros.
Speaking on podcast The Inside Scoop, Rudiger admitted that he was very impressed by Yamal’s progression, saying:
“You have to give credit where credit is due.
“He is 17, it’s ridiculous. The player he is already for them at 17, it’s quite scary.
“What he did in the Euros, you have to give kudos to him. He has a great future ahead.
“I think they have a player who has a [big] career and hopefully, he will stay healthy.”
Rudiger and Yamal are set to go toe-to-toe in the upcoming El Clasico on 26th October. Barcelona are currently top of the league, with two points ahead of Real Madrid.
