Barcelona lost 2-1 to Monaco, in our opening Champions League game.
Eric Garcia was sent off in the 11th minute, after a miscommunication between Garcia and goalkeeper Ter Stegen.
Pedri stated that the Barca players had to run three times as much just to stay in the game, but backs Barcelona to bounce back from the defeat.
“It was a communication error between the two, it can happen, we have to move on and try to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” he told the media.
“With one less player we have run three times as much and we have to recover, I’m sure that on Sunday we will be fine.”
Barca will visit Villarreal on Sunday, and Pedri will be hoping his team bounces back with three points.
