Barcelona beat Girona 4-1 to maintain their perfect start to the new campaign.

Barcelona have looked a different side under Hansi Flick, and have so far won all their games, with the latest being the 4-1 victory away at Girona.

Girona boss, Michel, accepted the defeat, and admitted that Barcelona were on another level.

He said: “Barcelona were great, much better than us. That doesn’t mean we didn’t do well, but they were just that much better.

“They did not give us a chance.”

Michel didn’t seem to have any grudges when discussing the penalty awarded to his team, as he rather chose to hail the superiority of Barcelona.

He said: “The penalty for us? I don’t feel harmed… Today Barça has shown us that we are far from their level.”
