Raphinha has started the season in explosive form for Barcelona, and is in the form of his life.

The Brazilian was awarded the La Liga Player of the Month award for August, after a spectacular start to the new season, where he even bagged a hat-trick in the 7-0 bashing of Real Valladolid.

Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has hailed Raphinha for his form this season.

When asked if the Brazilian’s superb form is down to his coaching, Hansi Flick responded: “It has less to do with the coach than with the atmosphere in the club and in the dressing room, in the technical secretariat. Everything helps. He’s at his best. He plays a decisive role in every game.

“He is a brilliant player. I love his intensity in matches and in training. A player like him, when he gives his all, he spreads energy and positivity to the rest of the team.”
