Barcelona legend Gerard Pique, has revealed his admiration for Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.

At age 17, Yamal is already a key player for Barcelona and Spain, and has broken several records in the process.

Lamine Yamal has scored eight goals and provided 13 assists in 55 appearances for Barcelona, having only turned 17 in July this year.

Pique has revealed his admiration for Yamal, for showing so much maturity beyond his age.

The retired ex-Barca defender told Mundo Deportivo: “I think what’s most impressive, just like with Cubarsi, is the maturity he shows on the field.

“As a winger, who typically enjoys one-on-one situations, he knows how to assess each scenario well. If he’s outnumbered, he protects the ball; if he sees an opportunity, he goes for it, he scores..
