New Barcelona signing Pau Victor had a good game against Manchester City.
The 22-year-old striker started the game and scored Barcelona’s opener against City.
Pau Victor impressed on loan with Barca B last season, scoring 18 goals for the reserve team, which made Barcelona sign him permanently from Girona.
Pau Victor has now said he trusts in his abilities.
Speaking after the game on being linked with a potential loan move away from Barcelona, Victor said: “I trust in myself, these are decisions that don’t depend on me, I think I can stay.
“Flick asks us to be aggressive, to press, to be confident. Barca is the best place where I can grow. I will ask my teammates to sign the ball for me, this has reminded me of my family, my partner, my friends, who have stayed up until late.”
The 22-year-old signed a five-year contract with Barcelona.
