Pep Guardiola has spoken highly of Lamine Yamal ahead of Barcelona’s pre-season friendly match with Manchester City.

Guardiola has said Lamine Yamal is an extraordinary player, and admits he always asks Rodri about the Barcelona and Spain starlet.

Guardiola also hopes the 17-year-old forward will continue to shine even when he gets to 25.

“Lamine Yamal is extraordinary,” Pep Guardiola said in his press conference ahead of the Barca vs Man City friendly match.

“Every time Rodri comes back from the national team, I ask him and he tells me that he’s wonderful to watch.

“Hopefully when he’s 25 we won’t be tired of him. He plays very well, he’s decisive.”
