New Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has hinted that Sergi Roberto won’t be a Barca player anymore.

The 32-year-old has been a free agent since July 1, and it seems there’s no way back into the team for the captain.

The veteran was initially expected to get a contract extension under Xavi, however, things have changed since Hansi Flick took over.

Asked about the Barcelona icon, Hansi Flick gave a rather disinterested response.

 “At the moment, he’s not a Barca player,” Hansi Flick has said when asked by journalists about Sergi Roberto’s future.

Sergi Roberto has reportedly gotten tired of waiting for Barcelona and Hansi Flick, and he’s now exploring new options.
