Barcelona have suffered a a fresh injury blow ahead their pre-season tour of the United States.

Barca winger Ansu Fati has suffered an injury, and will not be joining his teammates for the US pre-season tour on July 28.

Ansu Fati sustained a foot injury during Wednesday morning training, the club has confirmed.

Barcelona released a statement, thus: “He will undergo conservative treatment in Barcelona, and his return to training will depend on his recovery time.”

Ansu Fati was doing well on loan last season with Brighton, until an injury hampered his season.

Ansu Fati would have been hoping to prove his worth to the new Barca boss, Hansi Flick.
