Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has hired a personal physical trainer to get in peak shape for Barcelona’s preseason.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski has hired a personal physical trainer and has been following a specific workout plan to return in the best possible shape for the new campaign.

Lewandowski aims to impress new manager Hansi Flick, with whom he had a successful stint at Bayern Munich, and as well secure his spot as the first-choice striker.

Lewandowski, who turns 36 in August, is motivated to recapture his top form under Flick’s guidance.

Lewandowski scored 19 goals in the La Liga last term, his league returns in nearly a decade.
