Lamine Yamal took time to hit back at PSG and France star Adrien Rabiot, after Spain sent France packing in the Euro 2024 semi-final clash on Tuesday.

Just moments after the final whistle in the semi-final meeting between France and Spain, Lamine Yamal walked up to the camera and shouted “Speak now!”

This was in response to Adrien Rabiot, who had questioned Lamine Yamal before the game.

“Lamine has a lot of qualities. He can perform at the club level and in major tournaments, but it will be up to us to apply pressure and show him he needs to do more to succeed,” the France midfielder told the media.

At the end, Yamal scored a stunning goal, and provided an assist to ensure Spain come from behind to win the game.

Lamine Yamal then took to social media to post a message at full-time: “Move in silence, only speak when it’s time to say checkmate.”
