Former Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick has been announced as the new Barcelona head coach.

Flick replaces Xavi Hernandez as Barcelona head coach after signing a deal with the club until 2026.

Reacting to being new Barcelona head coach, Flick said: “I’m proud to be at Barça, it’s a wonderful and incredible club really.

“We share the same vision, possession and quality football.

“Barça has La Masia, one of the best academies in the world; so our mission is to improve all the players.”
