Barcelona are expected to beat bottom-placed Almeria away from home on Thursday night.

Xavi has however revealed that the game against Almeria won’t be an easy one, as his team is battling fitness and fatigue issues.

The Barca boss confirmed that he will rotate his players for this game, as his players suffered ‘tiredness and fatigue’ after the Real Sociedad game.

“But it won’t be easy,” said Xavi ahead of Almeria clash.

“When you look at Almería, they deserved a lot more. And now they can afford to relax because they have nothing to lose.

“They have competed very well against some of the biggest teams in the competition and will want to win at home to bring some joy to their fans.

“And we will be making changes because the game with Real Sociedad was very intense. Although the fitness stats were good, there’s tiredness and fatigue and we need fresh legs.”
