Barcelona legend Dani Alves was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for a sexual assault that occurred at a nightclub in Barcelona on December 31, 2022.
Earlier this week, the Brazilian was provisionally released from prison after spending over a year in jail awaiting his sentence for alleged sexual abuse.
Interestingly, just a day after his release on a €1,000,000 bail, Dani Alves returned to his home in Esplugues de Llobregat (a municipality near Barcelona) and was reportedly seen partying until five in the morning, as per TyC Sports.
However, it wasn’t a wild celebration, with reports claiming that the gathering had a more solemn occasion – as he celebrated his father’s birthday.
Dani Alves has since had his Spanish and Brazilian passports confiscated, limiting his ability to leave the country.
