Joao Cancelo has impressed for Barcelona this season.

The Portuguese joined Barca on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City, and has been a key part of Xavi’s team.

Joao Cancelo was asked if he hopes to continue at Barcelona next season. His response was direct: “Yes, yes. I do.”

According to reports, Man City will demand around €30-40m to let Cancelo go permanently.

Barcelona however will aim to bid lower than £30m for the Portuguese who turns 30 in May.

Cancelo has featured 30 times for Barca this season making seven goal contributions.
