Frenkie de Jong and Pedri got injured in the first half against Athletic Club and had to be replaced. For Xavi, it was a sad for the duo and also himself, as he lost two key players to injury.

“It’s a sad day for Frenkie and Pedri. We are sad too,” Xavi said when asked about the injured players.

“We will see how much time they will need to recover. The injuries don’t look good. They are two important players.”
