Xavi is under increased pressure as Barcelona manager.
The Spaniard had confirmed last month that he’d leave the club at the end of the season, following the 5-3 defeat to Villarreal.
Barcelona reached another low, after Xavi’s men played out a 3-3 draw with Granada.
Reports from Diario AS’ Javier Miguel, has claimed that Xavi ‘could leave Barcelona’ if the Blaugrana lose to Napoli in the first leg of the Champions League last 16.
Xavi’s job has been criticised this season, but the 43-year-old believes he can revitalise the team before the end of the season.
In the case of a Xavi exit, Barca would most probably appoint Rafa Marquez (the current Barca Atletic boss) as the interim coach until the end of the season.
Barcelona play Napoli away from home on February 21. The second leg takes place on March 12.
