Former Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed who’s best to take over from the departing Xavi.

Xavi has confirmed that he’d be leaving Barcelona at the end of the season.

Coincidentally, Xavi made this announcement around the same time Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed he’d be leaving Liverpool.

Aubameyang has now backed the German to do a good job at Barcelona.

Speaking on Gerard Romero’s Twitch channel, Aubameyang said: “Klopp gives you everything, energy, he has won great titles, he is a good coach.

“If there is a chance for Barca he is a good option, I was very comfortable with him at Dortmund. It would be incredible if he could come [to Barca].”
