Barcelona have indeed signed a rare gem in young Brazilian striker, Vitor Roque.

The 18-year-old came on and scored a goal for Barcelona in the 3-1 win over Alaves.

Within minutes of coming on, Roque was on the scoresheet, and few minutes later, he was shown a red card after two bookings.

For his second yellow, it was a controversial decision from the referee, as Roque didn’t seem to make contact with the Alaves player.

Xavi has vowed that the club will appeal the second yellow card.

“We are going to appeal Vitor Roque’s second yellow card. It is clear that it is a mistake, another mistake… his sending-off is very unfair,” Xavi told the media after the 3-1 win against Alaves.

  1. The laliga referees are not really trying is like they hate the player I don’t know why the second yellow card that was given is not really fair but we pray they changed
