Barcelona secured a 3-1 victory over Alaves in a La Liga clash.
Goals from Robert Lewandowski, Ilkay Gundogan and substitute Victor Roque secured the three points for Barcelona.
Lewandowski scored the opener in the first half to put Barcelona ahead. Shortly after the restart, IIkay Gundogan headed home from a Pedri cross to make it 2-0.
Barcelona’s gap didn’t last long, as Samu Omorodion scored for the hosts two minutes after Gundogan’s goal.
Substitute Vitor Roque scored a brilliant goal four minutes after replacing Gundogan.
It was a sad night for Victor Roque as he was harshly sent off after receiving two yellow cards in five minutes. The second yellow came nine minutes after his goal. It was a harsh decision by the referee, and Roque left the pitch disappointed. Barcelona would hold onto their 3-1 lead, and take all three points home.
