Ferran Torres is in the form of his life.

The 23-year-old was linked with an exit from the club during the summer transfer window but he opted to stay and fight for his place.

The Spaniard started the season on the fringes, but has fought his way back into the team.

Ferran bagged a hat-trick against Real Betis, and has now scored 11 goals and made four assists this season.

Xavi has praised Torres for keeping his words, as the striker vowed at the start of the campaign to give his best this season.  

He said: “Ferran Torres has turned the tables by himself. I spoke with him in the summer, and he sent me a spectacular message that he was willing to succeed and that is what he is doing.

“He is one of the footballers who has the most mental strength. I’m very happy.”
