According to latest reports, Barcelona are set to agree a mouthwatering historic deal.

Diario Sport’s Ivan San Antonio has revealed that Barcelona are in advanced negotiations with Puma to become the club’s new shirt manufacturer.

If the deal does pull through, it would be the most expensive deal in football history.

Manchester City currently have the highest deal in this respect, as they reportedly receive €167m per year while Real Madrid receive €120m annually from their current deal with Adidas.

Puma’s deal with Barcelona could pay the Catalans €200m a year on a 10-year contract. With bonuses, the figure could reach €300m.

However, there’s only one problem Barca could encounter. Barca’s current deal with Nike expires only in 2026, with the kit giants having an opportunity to extend it until 2028. However, it’s also being reported that both parties may terminate the contract.
