Barca player breaks stunning record after win against Osasuna

Lamine Yamal burst onto the scene in 2023, and the 16-year-old set the La Liga on fire with his eye-catching displays, as be broke records in the process.

The young winger has taken his exploits to this year as well.

The youngster scored an impressive late goal to seal the win in the Supercopa semi-final clash against Barcelona.

Yamal has now become not only the youngest player to play in the Spanish Super Cup but also the youngest to score in one.

He achieved this feat at the age of 16 years and 182 days, beating the previous record that was held by Ansu Fati.

Back in October last year, at 16 years and 87 days, Yamal became the youngest scorer in the La Liga.

Yamal became the youngest player to score in a European Championship qualifier: 16 years and 57 days, achieved against Georgia, thus beating Gareth Bale’s record of 17 years and 83 days. He’s also the youngest player to score for Spain.
