Barcelona striker Vitor Roque made his debut in the 2-1 victory over Las Palmas.
The 18-year-old officially joined Barcelona from Brazilian side Athletico Paranaense in January, even though his transfer has long been sealed.
The 18-year-old made his Barca debut, as he entered the pitch in the 78th minute against Las Palmas.
Barca defender Ronald Araujo has warned that Roque is still a young striker, so expectations of him shouldn’t be too high.
“Vitor Roque is 18 years old, so be calm,” Ronald Araujo said in a note of warning about Barca’s new striker.
“But he will help us a lot, for sure,” Araujo continues in adoration of the teenager. “I see a lot of Brazilian football and can ensure that Vitor Roque is a big player.
“He has quality and I’m convinced that it will give us a lot. Today it has played few minutes and already has had occasions of goal.”
