Brazilian forward Vitor Roque has admitted he has supported Barcelona all his life and insists Barcelona was his only option despite interest from other clubs.

The 18 year old has now joined Barcelona ahead of the second-half of the season.

Asked why he chose Barcelona, Roque said: “I’ve supported Barça all my life. It was my only option. It’s the best club in the world and it was always my dream to come here.

“Some of my greatest heroes have played here, like Romario and Neymar. They made history here. It will be a pleasure to play in this shirt.”

Asked about the players that have impacted him the most, Roque added: “There are so many, but I’d have to say Neymar, Romario, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. I think they’re the ones that impacted me the most.”
