Following Barcelona’s 1-1 draw against Valencia on Saturday, Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez admitted the team has missed Gavi.

Gavi suffered a serious knee injury while playing for Spain in their Euro 2024 qualifying win over Georgia last month.

Before his injury, Gavi had made 15 appearances for Barcelona this season, starting 13.

Gavi is expected to miss the rest of the campaign and is also a major doubt for Euro 2024 and the Olympic Games with Spain next summer.

Speaking after Barcelona’s 1-1 draw against Valencia on Saturday, Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez said about Gavi: “We miss Gavi at all times.”
