Spanish Champions Barcelona are planning on making Joao Cancelo’s move to the club a permanent one, next summer.

However, Barça are only willing to offer €30m for his services while City demand €50m.

Cancelo is on a long-term loan deal to the Spanish side but with no option to buy.

The Catalans are now resulting to secure another loan deal next summer, this time with an obligation to buy in 2025 depending on  services of the agent Jorge Mendes, who has several other Blaugrana players on his books.

Joao Cancelo has been outstanding since joining the Catalans with his recent top performance against Porto, scoring and providing an assist in Barcelona’s 2-1 win.

According to Diario Sport, these kinds of displays could benefit Man City in the long run as the Citizens will try to fetch a larger fee for his services next summer.
