Barca boss Xavi Hernandez has called for more support for star striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Pole international failed to score in the Champions League tie against Porto, as goals from Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix sealed a comeback victory for Barcelona.

Despite Lewandowski missing some glaring chances in game, Xavi has called for more support for the veteran striker.

“We have to look more for Lewandowski. We have to create more opportunities for him, as he’s an amazing striker,” Xavi told the media after the Porto game.

Xavi also hailed his side’s showing in the second-half against Porto.

“I hope we continue playing like we did in the second half. We have to be more courageous and bold,” Xavi said of Barca’s reaction to win the game.
