Barcelona won the title last season, beating Real Madrid to the La Liga convincingly.
However, this season is looking even tougher, and Barcelona have struggled to win games of late.
Barca dropped points against Rayo Vallecano away from home on Saturday, and it wasn’t a totally convincing performance.
Barca played poorly in the first-half, but looked a different side in the second-half, as they ended up scoring the equalising goal.
Speaking after the game, Xavi called for consistency from his team, if they are going to retain their La Liga title.
He said: “We played two different halves. In the first we dominated but were not been aggressive, in the second we came closer to what we wanted, generating and being able to score more. But we have to be self-critical and improve.
“If we want to win the title this season, we have to change our mentality. The time is now.”
