Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has warned Jude Bellingham that he has plenty of time to catch Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham in the top scorer’s race.

Bellingham currently tops the La Liga scorers chart this season, having bagged 10 League goals already, while Lewandowski is on 7.

Lewandowski was presented with last season’s top scorer Pichichi award, and he has revealed his intention to win the award again this season.

He said: “I want to thank my family, team, coach and staff. It was very important to adapt quickly to the team, everyone helped me from the beginning. We won LaLiga, the Super Cup and now the Pichichi.

“I’m very, very happy.”

On Bellingham’s top position this season, he said: “The season is long. It is very difficult to score many goals in the league, but we are Barcelona and we want to win and achieve many goals.”
