Barcelona didn’t have it easy against Alaves, as the Blaugrana came from behind to take all three points.
It was a dreadful start to the game, as IIkay Gundogan was caught in possession shortly after kick-off, which led to a quick goal for the visitors, inside the first minute of the game.
Barcelona’s performance in the first-half was lacklustre, and Xavi’s men went into half-time trailing.
The second-half was however different, as Barca started with fresh momentum.
Shortly after the restart, Robert Lewandowski headed in a powerful effort into the net from a fine Jules Kounde cross.
Barcelona continued to pile on the pressure, and it paid off when Barca got a penalty which was duly converted by Lewandowski.
It was indeed an important win for Barca, as Girona and Real Madrid also got victories.
