Barcelona have lost two of their last three games, and only laboured to get a narrow 1-0 win against Real Sociedad.

Following the Champions League defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk, Diario AS’ Javi Miguel claimed that Xavi and his coaching crew held a one-hour crisis meeting with his players.

The entire squad participated in the meeting, as they discussed with the boss what had gone wrong in the team’s performances.

The report says senior members of the squad aired their view on what they believe isn’t going on well and possible remedy.

The meeting is believed to have ended on a positive note with everyone united and focused on turning things back on track.
