IIkay Gundogan was frustrated following the El Clasico defeat to Real Madrid on Saturday.
Barca were winning the tie 1-0, but ended up losing 2-1, no thanks to a brace from Jude Bellingham.
After the game, Gundogan publicly called out his teammates’ reactions to the defeat.
The recent treble winner, has called on his teammates to show more disappointment, which relates to their desire and hunger to win, which he believes is missing.
“I want to be honest but without going overboard, because I wouldn’t like to say something I shouldn’t,” the 33-year-old midfielder said after the game.
“Of course people are disappointed but after such a big game, and such result, I wish there was more anger, frustration and disappointment. This is part of the problem.
“There has to be more emotion, especially when you lose. You know you can do better in certain situations and you don’t react, and this transfers to the pitch at the end of the day.”
