Barcelona were beaten 2-1 in the first El Clasico of the season.

Real Madrid were outplayed by Barca, but the individual brilliance of Jude Bellingham helped the Los Blancos to an undeserved victory.

Speaking after the game, Xavi and striker, Robert Lewandowski claimed that Real didn’t deserve their three points.

Javi Miguel of Diario AS, who is said to be close to Xavi’s entourage, has revealed the coach’s message to the Barcelona dressing room following the El Clasico defeat.

Xavi reportedly said: “You should be proud of your work. Believe me, if we play like this, we will win the league.

“We were much better than Madrid and dominated them for a large part of the match, but they decided it with two strikes. In 60 minutes we ran them over.”
