Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has bemoaned the team’s defeat to Real Madrid.
Barcelona were cruising to a victory after an early IIkay Gundogan goal. However, a second-half brace from Jude Bellingham turned the game around.
Speaking after the game, Lewandowski said the Los Blancos didn’t deserve their three points.
“It’s an undeserved win for Madrid. They got the three points, but they don’t deserve it,” Robert Lewandowski told the media after the 2-1 loss to Real Madrid.
“The league is very long and we won’t give up.”
Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez also portrayed a similar message after the game. Xavi even said that Real Madrid didn’t deserve a draw.
Xavi said: “Even a draw wouldn’t reflect what we saw on the pitch [against Real Madrid]. I think we played a game to win, but we lost.
“A bad result, although I think we played a good game.”
